    About Live Currency?


    I have some live currency, but not enough for the title i want to purchase.. so what i'm wondering is that, does the marketplace use first the live credit that i already have and then charge from my creditcard the amount that there is remaining? ..or will
    it charge the whole sum from the creditcard, and dosen't use the live currency at all?

    If the card is not activated then you should speak to where you purchased the Xbox live card from and request they activate it for you.

    About Live Currency?

    As long as you make the purchase on the console and choose your credit card first, it should ask if you want to use the remaining balance in your Microsoft account first and then charge the remainder to your card.

    It sounds like you are confused about our currencies. Xbox Live Rewards Credits are not the same as MyVIP Gems. Gems are a type of currency that can be used to claim items from the MyVIP Vault at (https://rewards.xbox.com/en-US/myvip/vault/).
    Rewards Credits are the Credits that are deposited into your account as currency.

    Currency can only be used to purchase things from the Live marketplace, not the store. And there is currently no way to preorder games through the marketplace.

    I don't think you can pre-order using the currency, but I am not sure. I will try to look into it for you, or another ambassador or official support will chime in with more info.

    You may have bought the Gold Live with a different currency. You need the same currency to upgrade it to Ultimate.
