    hello microsoft community, i got an xbox series s 2 weeks ago and i had a problem with it. problem is on that link: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...-problem/db535c59-1da5-43fa-a87a-adb181efb10d my question is about guarantee situation; i contacted to guy who works at the store and he said they cant change the device or refund the amount. he said i should use microsoft guarantee. i was loooking at the guarantee page it says "If you choose to submit a service request directly to Microsoft, we remind you that in the event of a replacement, you may be given a repaired device" should i worry about that? would they give me like 1 year used device? i bought my device 2 weeks ago, i dont wanna get the old one.

    You won't have anything to worry about. You will be sending in a used console and will recieve a working one back in its official refurbished packaging. Microsoft will not issue you a broken or none working or faulty console.

    If you for any reason have problems with the replacement, I urge you to create a ticket so it can be handled correctly as Microsoft will not leave you with a faulty replacement. :)

    NOTE: DO NOT send any cords or controllers or games with the one you are having repaired/ replaced. Only send the console.

    Not always. You are right that you can redownload content you've previously purchased for free at any time from your download history. However, in some cases content is completely removed from the marketplace, meaning the data is no longer there to download.
    So you may run into a game or 2 that cannot be redownloaded.

    Yes. Explain the situation and ask if they can do a manual transfer. They will in certain circumstances, but there is no guarantee that they will.
