About Game Recording

Hi all, I need somebody's help...

I was using the function, "game capture", to record my gameplay without any problem till yesterday.

Then today, I was trying to do the same thing as usual, but it started to say "There is nothing to record. Please play for a while and try again later" (something like that, sorry it was in Japanese so I translated.)

I don't know what's wrong, I tried many things that I can imagine to solve this problem, but I couldn't.

And plus, I wanted to use customer support - chatting one, the page asked me to sign in with my Microsoft account so I did, then my name appeared as "?? ??".

Because of this, the page said "It is incorrect data", and couldn't even reach to customer support.

Hope I can use this function again...

Quick Question about Xbox One

Hello Everyone!

Quick question about Xbox One and recording devices. Will recording devices still function with the new Xbox, devices such as capture modules like Hauppauge HD PVR, Elgato Game Capture and other recording devices that directly connect to the console and
a PC/Mac.

if this is about preventing it from recording your voice you can use Win+M to make it stop recording.

I am assuming this is what you are talking about

Is this with the same game that it was fine and is now an issue?

If you go to https://account.live.com you should be able to add your name to your Microsoft Account profile, which is where the Support site is pulling its information from. After this you would be able
to open a chat with a Support Agent.

This happens to me on Killer Instinct often. I just log out of the game, back in, and it works again. This only happens every few days, and I've noticed it mostly happens after I take my PC out of sleep state while the game was running. So now I just reboot
the game for any time of period I am away and the problem seems to be gone.

I am sure Microsoft will work out the kinks. I hope they do it soon. But for now I would just reboot the game every time it happens. Or is it just not working at all?

Yes, it happened with same game

And about name, actually I already tried that page to modify my name (I was using Kanji so changed it to Alphabet) but still, when I log in, it appears as "?? ??" lol

Yes, I rebooted not only game but also laptop, tried to record other games as well, tried to record not game but something else... but nothing could solve the problem :S
