what would happen if i reset my whole xbox would it rid of my console ban?

Dear Microsoft please help me about my account bieng banned for inapropriate communication i have not been rude to anyone nor have i sent any inapropriate content or explicit content to anyone i hope u can help me out with this problem.

i have just been on the fone to x box they carnt tell me any thing how come i have got a ban against this game i have played pleasently not had a micro phone so carnt have been acoused of bieng nasty or any thing to any one so y is it that im banned from
here plus all my gamer tag gs and everything has gone this is not fair not even bieng on that many times

No, A console ban is permanent. Not even changing owners will lift a console ban.

Can you still update the console's software using offline methods once it is banned?

This was an option with the Xbox 360, in fact many game discs carried the console update that the game required to run. It meant even a banned console could still be used for single player gaming with the latest titles.

 

Presumably a banned console can still be used offline, but if you reset it, that will remove your account from the console and leave you with no way to get it back on there, so your console would become a brick basically (if it's not already).

 

Console bans are likely based on the serial number, which is linked to the entire motherboard of the console. A factory reset will not make the ban go away.

If you want to get back on Xbox Live, then the only solution is to buy a new console, and avoid any future bans by following the
Code of Conduct.

 

Yeah,you can use a banned console offline as long as it was set as the home console & you put it in offline mode.
