    First, I have to say this happen because my mistake.

    I have activate two of "Lost planet 2" key in the same account.

    I want to take one back an use for other account.

    Your right it is actually really good so far, seems faster and it has more of a Windows 7 look to it, like the Xbox App.. Only problem i had was installing MB Drivers because of compatibility but just changed it to Windows 7 in properties! So far so good! I still don't know how it is free forever if it is upgraded within the year, i upgraded for the activation then i put the .ISO on a disc and ran a clean install removing all the previous Windows, skipped product key and it still activated when i got online... What is our Windows 10 Product Key linked to? Will our old Windows Product Key be our Windows 10 key when the free upgrade ends? And will that Product Key no longer work for the older version? What would happen after a big hardware change... Microsoft!

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    As per Microsoft Support:

    "To activate Windows, you need a digital license or a product key. If you're ready to activate, select Open Activation in Settings. Click Change product key to enter a Windows product key. If Windows was previously activated on your device, your copy of Windows 10 or Windows 11 should be activated automatically."

    This means that you need to have or buy a key for Windows 10 that you need to redeem.
