    Ability to see child's spending or to add money just returns error message!


    I use the the family security for quite a long time and found it very useful to monitor my 10 year olds usage. Just recently, whether i use the app or through a browser, it wont let me view my child's spending, incl adding additional funds. I can see the overview, screentime and content filters but no spending. All i get as i try to open is the error message below. Whats gone wrong here?

    Can you try remove the child from the family group then re add them. Then try to spend or add money.

    Microsoft has the worst customer help i have ever experienced. I cannot get any help and im trying to buy a product from you.

    I just tried this and it did the same for me, so there does seem to be a bug, but it just seems to be that link.

    I got around it by clicking on 'Overview' of the child, then on the left select 'Spending' and then click on the 'Add Money' box.

    Then it seems to work.

    Not knowing exactly how you have things set up I'll assume your childs account is under parental controls. As such you may need to approve any purchases on the child account using the parental account if you have Ask a parent enabled on the Xbox.

    I'd double check you're signed into the parent account when attempting to add money to the child account, as for the error you're seeing it could be a number of things.

    If you still have problems please post the error message or code you're seeing and without a doubt someone can help further.
