    Ability to hear in-game voice chat while streaming with the Twitch app


    I don’t if this is another question like this with the same topic or not, but I need to know this:

    Why is there no ability to include in-game voice chat while streaming directly from your Xbox via the Twitch app? Privacy reasons? Hardware restrictions?

    Questions about using the Twitch App on the Xbox One

    The app on the Xbox One is OK for streaming. You can voice chat with viewers by starting a private party and selecting it in the app so the players you are playing with can't hear your stream.

    The text chat interface is pretty much useless. I use a twitch app on a tablet if I decide to text chat with viewers.

    HI their,

    The Twitch App for Xbox has a new feature: you now have the ability to broadcast your Party Chat.

    To use this, enable the “Broadcast party chat” option in the
    Twitch app settings on Xbox.

    Everyone in your party will have the option to allow/enable their voice to be heard by your broadcast/stream. Should they decline (DISABLE) , you’ll still be able to chat with them in your party, but they will not be heard
    on the Stream/broadcast.

    In the Twitch settings while streaming you can choose to mute your mic so that your voice won't be heard on your stream. Your friends will still be able to chat with you.

    Regarding your second question, even with the microphone on, the twitch stream does not pick up the voices of other people in your party. I actually found this forum trying to find a way to make twitch pick up the voices of my friends as well as my own.

    What new feature would you like on Xbox

    a streaming app like twitch or youtube but you can design how the profile should look.

    Maybe lower corner have the stream chat.. Viewers and etc on top.

    I would like to add that I was told my voice was really low when using the microphone (Party App, Destiny in-game chat and when I stream on Twitch.

    I'm really frustrated with this...
