    Why did i receive a Communication Ban when it was the other player who sent the hate message?

    While playing Rainbow 6 siege i got shot in the back and immediately received a message from a teammate saying "RETARD" even though i had pulled my weight through the game so far i wasnt sure why he would send this message so i replied
    WITH a question mark at the end "RETARD?" asking why i warrented that message when my death was unavoidable. within 2 minutes i receive a communication BAN. Please explain how this can happen. if he reported my message surely while being reviewed it could
    be plainly seen that the other user that sent the abbusive message. why am i being punished? and now with a communication ban i am unable to play Siege on Ranked because communication is needed to perform well as a team and to rank up.

    It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

    Abbusive ban

    You have no way of knowing when you were reported.

    Any report has to be investigated which takes time.You 2nd suspension would of been for something you did weeks ago,long before your first suspension was issued.

    As the enforcement team don't use the forums you can go to the enforcement site
    here for more details & to file for a case review if eligible.

    Account Permanently Suspended for 15 days. No update

    My account received a communication ban so i took the ban for a day like i was supossed to then i came back to a NEW BAN that wont even let me play multiplayer games for no reason it said it for sending abbusive text or griefing and trolling witch i hadnt since my communication ban so i dont know what happened they also didnt accept my appeal so i dont know what to do so I can't play games for 2 weeks on my account for no REASON at all thanks xbox.

    As I mentioned in the post above, some bans may have occurred weeks before the ban started, especially with comms bans as they need to investigate...so it may be that the offense occurred before the 1 day ban occurred. If they have rejected your appeal, then there is nothing you can do besides wait it out. Whilst it may simply be a language barrier, your post makes it sound like you were trolling/sending abuse/grief prior to the ban which would then make the ban justifiable....you might want to spend the 2 weeks considering how you conduct yourself in future so you don't end up getting banned again (next time it may be permanent). If that wasn't the case, then apologies...it's just how your post reads

    Device band can't be lifted, if was a temporary ban the time of the ban needs to end if it's a permanent ban, it will remain banned

    No, once an account is banned, then it is banned. banned means banned. Sorry, but you shouldn't have broken the CoC/ToS.
