A question: what is the green box with the ! point?

I also have a question, When you look on the event list in career mode and you have the grid of boxes what do the different colours mean? white green and blue.

day one is black box, green is not. There is also a white xbox for msft employees only.

Whether you HAD to preorder to get the black box... well, I doubt it. I mean, surely atleast a few preorders did not/will not pick them up, or perhaps they were not all claimed, ect ect. Many preorders are held for a week, so you may see a handful of black
boxes get released to the general public.

Still, to your original question, if they have a green box, its not day one edition, regardless of how they acquired it.

To hell with all that. If I get really sucked into the hype on the 5th, I'll just buy it for my Xbox 360 then upgrade later. No point in having that pretty green box staring at me for 2 weeks.

Every little bit helps, these cases are also quite a bit thinner and most BluRay and DVD cases feature the same cut outs and recycled materials. Manuals are being phased out because no one reads them when in-game tutorials are the norm. Less materials +
less weight = better for environment.



Personally if the next generation of discs and DVD cases were scaled down to the size of the standard BluRay case that would be fine with me. Removing discs is pretty easy if you have a flat surface (hold the case in the palm of your hand). Push the button
in the middle and they pop out, after 2-3 removals the disc ejects pretty easily.

Funny, my BC2 disc is in one of these "eco-cases". It's perfectly fine, not a scratch on it. Maybe people should just be careful with their games.
