A question about Xbox Insider Preview Rings

Be sure to check in which Ring you are, this can be seen in the Insider App. The Ring will determine when your console will receive an update.

Yes, you can rejoin after leaving at any point. It's possible that by joining and gaining exp so that you move up the preview rings to Delta at least so that you may get a future preview update where this issue is addressed and you can test it out for yourself
before those in the Omega ring or not in the preview program. Beta ring previews updates before Delta ring and the Alpha ring, where updates are tested first, requires an invitation to join.

Either way a solution to this will more than likely be tested in the preview program first. News regarding what is included in recent preview updates for the different ring levels can be found here:

No i'm not a member of the preview program and never was, and what do you mean by "switched ring" ?

If you are in preview program, there is various "ring" inside the program, but don't worry about it, you are not a member so this is irrilevant.

I don't think they have options for offline updates in the preview program, but to join, you can do so by downloading the Xbox Insiders app from the Xbox store and registering through there. There are different preview rings available, and will vary in what
features are pushed and how often.

How can I join the Xbox One Update Preview, or move my console to a different Preview ring?

1. Launch the Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox One console.
2. On the main landing page, select Insider content.
3. Under System, select Xbox One Update Preview.
   
4. Select Join or Manage.
5. Choose a Preview ring from the available selections.
6. The rings in order are Alpha, Beta, Delta then omega
