    A petition for banned Xbox accounts


    Hey everyone. I wanted to take the time to share a petition going around that would give banned gamers one last chance at redemption. I know this is a huge shot in the dark and the first thing everyone would start thinking would be this would be giving toxic gamers another chance.

    There are however a lot of accounts that may have been wrongfully banned being accused of fraud or something as simple as joining some GTA V lobby and getting banned. As gamers we’re also humans and we all make mistakes. We all have our bad days and rough spells in our life where things out of character could’ve been said. Everyone’s going through something. The code of conduct should always be followed but things happen.

    A lot of these accounts active and banned alike would be about 10+ years old on average. Lots of history, memories, and gamer score being lost behind things like this. Worst of all as we enter the digital age a lot of people are losing all digital games when they’re accounts are banned. Thousands of dollars lost. So if you guys would just take the time to read it and if you dig it then sign it it could be a big help !

    Before this thread is being closed (all threads about banning close quite soon, not letting others express similar comments or complaints), I would say that Microsoft and Xbox is focusing too much in communication banning. Maybe it has to do with the federal
    law, I don't know, but seems there are also some victims suffered being banned by someone else who uses this as loophole making the others they don't like to be banned. I do hope that they have a nice and proper way to let the banned members launch petitions,
    but seems the Enforcement team would be busy for nothing.

    But come to think of it, would the Enforcement team investigate the case thoroughly before making any judgment, or just simply ban the suspect account first, then go back to check should they really receive any petitions? I bet so many members were just
    left banned but too lazy to launch petitions and just as well switch to the other gaming platform.
