A New Way to Give Feedback on the Xbox Adaptive Controller

I think the Xbox 360 was built better and last longer than any Xbox One controller. I have more issues with the Xbox One controller than I ever had with my Xbox 360 controller. The 3.5mm jack gives out quicker than the Xbox 360 controller ever did.
I find it a little shameful that you have to buy an adapter for an already $50 controller because of 3.5mm jack giving out and it always gives out after the warranty ended. However, buying an adapter is cheaper than having to purchase a new controller.

Plug your wireless adapter into your PC and press the button on the edge. Once you press the button, it will automatically install Xbox One controller drive. also could be the adapter giving
you issues.

I tried that and it didn't automatically install anything. The adapter isn't broken either, as it works with the xbox 360 controller. Is there a way I can manually install the correct Xbox one drivers so it can connect to the adapter?

The easiest way to check if this is an issue with the Xbox wireless adapter or the controller is syncing a second controller to the wireless adapter. The only catch there would be that you need a second controller.

If all troubleshooting from the links above failed, then my first thought would be that the wireless adapter needs to be replaced. Please post a response if anything changes or if you have any further details to give us on this issue.

Can you tell us the exact model of your Logitech controller?

While you can't directly connect the Logitech controller to the Xbox One, you can use the Xbox Adaptive Controller to connect a Logitech Extreme 3D USB controller to the Adaptive controller, and be able to use that.

All other Logitech controllers probably don't work, unless it's a Logitech G920 force-feedback steering wheel.
