A mere question

This is just a question post regarding an earlier post.

If I made 2 posts with the same content, but one was a “discussion” and the other a “question”, why was one deleted and the other closed? They are two distinct communication categories provided and I created one of each so that I’d be sure I’d have it in the proper category with no intention of spamming, merely seeing if anyone else in the community had the same issue.

I then reposted (and added more introductory info) the content in a live thread and had it taken down because it was the same content as posted before. However, neither chance was I allowed time for the community to respond or even view some.

Once a discussion is closed nobody can comment and then it renders the discussion pointless. Basically you are silencing a person, who is trying to communicate and see if others have a similar issue, before anybody can reply. I get there are guidelines, but closing posts and such just to make cases is exactly what EA did to the community despite a single post/topic from each player…because of that we got no help and now the issue has spread enough to warrant Microsoft being notified/use of their forums.

Here’s my point: I made two posts, one was going to be shared to ask if anyone else had the issue (the question post) while the other was to discuss what we feel the issue is and our experiences with the hacker (the discussion post). However, just as EA moderators silenced the community, so too have we been silenced here. Our only “crime” or fault was posting two posts of identical content to two distinct discussion categories or reposting content with more introductory material to create an open forum where people can actually discuss stuff.

Personally, from my experience with Ea forums and their moderators, it seems like moderators more care about being super strict and nit-picky about the rules and don’t realize that the post of one person represents tens of thousands of players. I made a post cuz I decided to speak up and seek help instead of sitting and watching a game I love die.

I mean seriously, let people make two posts that are identical but in different categories so that they can receive help, especially if it pertains to an entire game being hacked by one person and taken down on every gaming platform and on every regional server across the globe. Oh wait, it’s now two games due to others closing posts and not heeding/caring about the community and it’s plight.

I apologize if it sounds like I being rude or short, but I am voicing my frustration in a manner that does not harm anyone. I’m an American, I withhold my right to the 1st amendment and the freedom of speech it encompasses. I’m also getting frustrated because I tried two or more years ago to get EA to help and it’s the same thing…I even warned about the future hacking of Titanfall 2. If something you loved, such as a game, building, or other thing was vandalized, hacked, disabled, or destroyed, you would want help. So why then should somebody trying to get help for something they love (and you might not really care about due to different interests) be prevented from even discussing it due to “similar content to other posts”? It shouldn’t happen. The reason the content is similar is because it is the most precise and well-formed summary of the issue I have and I recycle my material to keep my discussions concise while relating the information regarding the issue.
