A hacker changed my email and password and I can’t log into my account?

I need help! I can’t find any help! A 17 year old hacker from Alabama stole my Microsoft account log in info and changed it to his email and password.I can’t log into to do anything! I can’t even report him! Microsoft sent me a security alert asking if the new log in was me and when I try to click on the link, it asks me to sign on and I can’t !! This kid called me threatening me to pay him to get my account back. I don’t know how this high school person was able to get my info and I live in California. Does anyone have an advice? I know his full name, phone number, where he goes to high school, his up address and Instagram account name. He just changed his gamer tag so I can’t report him that way either. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars and years and years on the DC game. This thief erased my character which took so much time and effort to get to where I was in the game. I filed a report with the FTC for identity theft but I feel he should be banns from Xbox because he will do this to others. This person bragged about stealing people’s account every day. How can I stop him if it requires me to log into my account that he has made his? Please help! Thank you

I have managed to log into the account and have changed my password but the email the account is linked to is the hackers, not mine and it won't let me change the email back. Is there anyway I could do this?

I have the exact same issue the hacker stole my account by somehow going into security info and changing the password and email to his making it impossible for me to login. The hacker also then decided to make a new account with my email and password leaving me with no minecraft account. I have proof that I own the account. Please help!

The account is mine, my friend, and the hacker changed the email and password and we cannot recover it. When I try to log in, it tells me this account does not exist, and the hacker is asking for a sum of money to restore the account. I really hope you can help me before he sells the account to someone else. My friend is very sad about the loss of his account. Best regards.

Thanks for the reply but i already reset my password through this. My problem is i am unable to change the recovery email that Hacker changed earlier. He still access my account as he got his email set as recovery email on my account.
