A game I downloaded is telling me to download it again.

I recently got downloaded high on life. I installed it and was able To play it yesterday. But today it is not showing up in my installed section and Xbox is telling me to install it again when I have all the files downloaded. Please help

Hello MapCat69, I don't know if you've tried any procedure on your console, if you haven't tried it, follow the procedures below.

Another thing that can help, if you are playing in a new generation console, like Series S/X is try to remove games from quick resume, because when you will start some game that is very heavy in matter of memory for the console.

And finally try to do a reset on the console while keeping games and Apps.

The first is a clear cache

1. Go to the Xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off

2. Wait 10 seconds until it turns off

3. Wait 1 minute with it off

4. Turn it back on

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

I have downloaded the game many times and its telling me the game couldnt start try downloading the game again witch I have done.... Why is this??

Thanks for all the Help and transaction was shown on my Xbox live account on the internet but not on my xbox so I just sent the download to my xbox and I got halo thanks for all the support it helped a lot!

On top of what my colleague said sometimes the Marketplace is slow to register a purchase. Wait a few minutes and check again and it may show up as purchased.

First, let's see if you were actually charged for the game. Head over to https://commerce.microsoft.com and check your recent transactions to see if Halo Wars is listed. If so, check your

download history to see if Halo Wars is listed. If it is not on your download history, you were charged on the commerce site, and it is still prompting you to buy it, you will need to contact
Microsoft Phone Support as they are the only ones that can assist with billing/refund issues. Let us know your findings.
