A few questions about the xbox 360

So i got few questions about the xbox 360. A couple or so are out of curiousty but question 3 is the main reason i'm posting this. I got a 360 S if that helps with anything here.

1. When will all support drop for these consoles?

2. What actually causes the 'Red ring of death'?

3. Do games and apps care about who bought it? Like if you bought minecraft and put it on a external ssd, would anyone be able to play it? I'm not looking to pirate stuff or anything like that but i got broken installation of mirrors edge owned by another
account and i'm simply wondering if i asked a friend who owns the game to move it to a external drive then i could move it to my internal storage, would the game be playable without downloading the friends profile on my system?

4. Could a 360 controller connect to a computer like a laptop?

1. No info has been given on when support will stop.

2. red Ring of Death only affected the older model Xbox 360's it just overheated and stopped working.

3. You have to be the owner of the game to be able to play it, or some one can do a license transfer on your console, then you can play their games.

4. yes a xbox 360 controller can be connected to a pc or laptop to play games, but you need the xbox 360 wireless controller adapter for windows if the controller is wireless. If it is a wired controller, you just need to plug it in.

1. I would expect the support for 360 will go down once the next generation of console gets released, that is just my opinion and not an official response.

2. There are many different reasons why the "red ring of death" appear. A full circle will indicate that it keeps overheating and the hardware is no longer useable unless replaced. The rest is easily researchable on the internet.

3. You can copy the game files to an external and then just copy them over to your internal.

4. As mentioned by the others, yes you can connect a 360 controller to PC/laptop if you have the adapter for wireless controllers.

Hi there from what i know the support has not got a end date yet because xbox use the 360 servers for backwards compatibility the red ring of death is caused by overheating the hd game should work if it is purchased with the account your using and the
controller can work on pc i just dont know how but there are plenty of you tube videos showing how i hope this helped
