A console restriction was added on my xbox wrongly.

I few days ago I had some friends over to play xbox and hang out. One of my friends accounts has had problems with trash talking and his gamerpicture was vulgar. I asked him to log it off and use a different profile. This morning I woke up and my console
had a restriction blocking all profiles from joining parties and playing multiplayer. Now i have done my far share of trash talking in the past and gotten banned for short time because of it, and learned from my mistakes. I believe I was restricted wrongly
and would like some assistance in the matter.

Daughter's account restricted , error 914

My daughter is trying to play on her Roblox account on the Xbox One, but it keeps saying it cannot link the accounts because of a restriction

i had a similar problem with restrictions for Minecraft too, neither of which are out of her age range anyway so no restrictions should be added.. either way, her account has no restrictions, its set up the same as mine.. so what is error 914 and why is a child
friendly game being restricted from my daughter???

can someone help as there's currently no xbox help available

That doesn't help but thanks, the problem is an XBox unnecessary restriction. Once an account is added to the Gold Family pack, the secondary account becomes parentally controlled by the primary account. He isn't a child and I have added no parental restrictions,
XBox do though. It's a ridiculous limitation

 

Even though it may not have been you that did this.

It did happen on the console at hand. According to Xbox's Terms of Service you're responsible for all actions on the console.

Most likely this will not change because there is no way to prove the claim that it was someone else.
