    Hey everyone! With Christmas coming up shortly I'm left with two questions on what I should spend my money on. I currently have a Xbox One S running on a old 1080p Samsung tv (specs unknown). With the launch of the One X recently behind us I'm looking to
    upgrade my gaming experience and am wondering if I would see more of a graphic benefit with a new One X running on my old tv or using a 4K gaming monitor of equal price with my One S? This is probably a stupid question but any help would be highly appreciated!

    A little confused

    I'm new to the world of online gaming for a console, so bear with me. My question is, what's the difference between gamer points and Xbox Live points? Are the gamer points simply for bragging rights- a sort of "look what I've done" thing? Also, are the Windows
    Live forums on a separate website?

    If you're watching 4k movies, then the S with a 4k monitor makes sense. Having a X on your 1080p Samsung wouldn't make the graphics look better; may improve loading times and frame rate.

    I`d stick with your S and buy a 4K TV.

    I upgraded my TV to a Samsung 50" 4K HDR earlier in the year while I was still gaming on my 360 and you could clearly see the vast improvement in graphical clarity over my old Samsung 42" 1080p HD TV.

    So no doubt, you will see a much clearer and sharper image with your S on a 4K TV.

    Then I upgraded my 360 to a One X in November and now I`m in gaming heaven.

    I`d stick with your S and buy a 4K TV.
