    A clip dissapeared from xbox console companion


    Hello! I am looking for a clip that i had in xbox console companion. I went to my captures and played it from there to show my fiance and accidentally hit share to twitter, I cancelled that window that popped up then my clip dissapeared. I went to twitter
    to see if its a draft there, nope. Its not in my recycling bin, and it doesn't show in my captures anymore or on my onedrive back up. Any suggestions? I really wanted this video and have had no luck finding it since then.

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are having issues with clips on the companion app. Here is a guide for

    edit and share clips on Windows 10    .

    Note In March of 2020 the option to upload images and game clips from the Xbox Console Companion (Beta) app was permanently removed. You’ll need to upload images and game clips from the non-beta version of the Xbox Console Companion
    app.

    I know how to see and edit my clips but they have all dissapeared apart from my very recent ones, and three from 95 days ago... there are over 80 clips missing

    Screenshots and clips are uploaded on the Xbox network, but if you saved ones to an external hard drive, disconnect that drive.

    If you want to export the clips and screenshots from the Xbox network you can do it using the Xbox console companion app on PC

    Or the Xbox mobile app

    Given that the Xbox Console Companion app is being replaced with the newer Xbox app on Windows 10/11, we recommend that you use the newer apps to access your captures. In this case, you need to open the Xbox app on your phone (Android or iOS), and then you can access all of your captures there, and also download them to share it as you want.
