    Hi everybody.

    A clicking noise comes from my Xbox One consola ==>

    It does not start even trying any Startup Troubleshooter option, I mean after any option (restarting, reseting or even offline system update) it comes back to the same Startup Troubleshooter display. This clicking noise could be related with a hard disk
    failure? If so, it does not mean I can overcome this startup issue without replacing my hard disk. is there any alternative option that I can try since I am not sure if it is a hardware issue, although the clicking noise suggests that. Thanks in advance for
    any suggestions about it.

    Xbox one S - hard disk noise when in standby

    Ok I wasn't sure if that was background noise or not. Has the clicking happened before at any time? or did it just start? And is it more of a metal shaking noise or actual clicking?

    My Xbox one elite console 1TB making high pitched noise

    Okay so when my fan on my xbox one slowly starts making a high pitched noise then when the fan is warm it makes a high pitched squeaky noise not mega loud but lets just say if I didn't have headphones I wouldn't be able to play it

    Any advice guys it's still under warrenty with the store I bought it from Is it something very bad am I in trouble with my xbox one?

    Why did my Xbox One S beep and click

    it was coming from the hard drive. i did an internet seach and the clicking noise was similar to the "hard drive click of death". A failing hard drive.

    My cousin's xbox one S made the same clicking noise with no beep, the clicking in his xbox was coming from the fan

    Actually the Xbox One is almost silent, but it does have moving parts and with any moving parts you'll hear noises. Mostly the click you hear is the same as a computer turning on or getting out of stand by so unless it comes to grinding or continual loud
    noises you are fine.

    Can you describe the "hum noise" a bit more?

    Does the humming come from a disc inserted in your console? Or is the cooling fan in your console spinning up?

    Do you get any other error message (like "Do you own this game or app")? When you start a Game Pass game, does the Splash screen during the startup of the game show a "Game Pass" icon in the lower right of the splash screen?

    Xbox making a ticking/clicking noise

    It does not matter where the HD is from All mechanical (Non SSD) HDs will start making clicking noises when they are starting to go bad.

    Your best bet would probably be to try and setup a repair order.

    My xbox one s makes a loud loud noise when start up it stops for about 30 sec and then comes back I try to turn it off but when the xbox is off it is louder than when it was on and now i cant use it for now sometimes i turn it on and it doesn’t make the
    noise but if i turn it off then again in 1hour or 2 then it does it again.
