    A bug on Series X?


    I noticed an interesting bug (?) on my Series X yesterday.

    I have an external USB drive attached. Most of my games reside on that.

    I moved Destiny 2 to the internal SSD. Everything working fine.

    Then yesterday Destiny informed me that there was 70 GB (!) update waiting to be installed. Ok, install that.

    After the installation I had two Destiny 2s, one on the internal drive, one on the external drive. Also, Forza 4 (which had been on the external drive) had also copied to the internal drive. On it's own.

    And then Destiny 2 refused to run, just giving me an error 0x800...something. On trying to start the game from both locations.

    I think there's some kind of bug on the system, if you have external drive(s) installed, upgrade to games seem to be installing at random locations, sometimes on the internal drive, sometimes on external. And you might end up with two
    installations taking space on both.

    I had no such problems on my old XBox One X, or the original One.

    Xbox Series X disconnects from WiFi when turned off

    I’m not sure how to reach these settings, but I’m quite certain it is not an issue with my router. My series x has worked for months before now, and all other devices on the network are working, including my Xbox one and Xbox one x. I have been having this issue since roughly the time that my series x last updated, is it possible that the issue is an overlooked bug in the series x OS?

    Hello again, thanks for the feedback, really can be a bug that just affects Series X, let's wait and hope that the developer throws a fix.
