MS Points transferred to my account in to money ,is less than what i was supposed to get.

Actually 80 Microsoft Points is exactly $1.00 (you were told that you would get equal or greater value), that's equal.

canada 1400 vs US 1600

shouldnt the canadian microsoft point cards (1400) be equal to the us cards (1600) now? since the currencies are equal?

Which points are you referring to? Microsoft points were discontinued in 2013. Are you referring to the credits you earn from the Xbox Rewards program or Microsoft Rewards program?

Rewards credits are usually given in even amounts, but 10,881 credits would be about $10.88USD. If you live in a different region, the program's FAQ lists the proper conversion for your region.

You'll need to make the purchase on a console that does have the beta dashboard,for example,your friend's console.Alternatively you can wait for the dashboard to be rolled out to everyone before making any purchases.

No, your points would have been converted to currency. You can check your account at
https://billing.microsoft.com and it will show your balance. If it still shows points, it will convert to currency after you try to make a purchase on the console.

If you're trying to make the purchase via the website, it hasn't fully been updated to use the currency so it will only ask to add a payment option.
