83118834 - Not allowed to access my account

Every time I try to access my xbox live account, it asks me to "Sign in with your email and password?" and gives me 2 options, "Continue" or "Can't access your account?"

Selecting continue, I input my email and password and it signs me in. I am then presented with an error screen saying "Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Code: 83118834" and immediately signs me out.

If I select the "Can't access your account?" function on the first screen, I am taken to the browser - where it asks me to reset my Microsoft password. I have done so and yet I'm still given the same error when I try to sign in with the new password.

Says I am not allowed to access this page, I signed in with my Microsoft account..crazy. What does their response say since I can't access it??

 

Heya!

With this error let's clear the
console's cache, & then download your profile onto the console.

Do not remove the profile just follow the steps to download it over top of itself.

Post back and let us know how that goes!

I'm also seeing this error code. It happened after I downloaded updates. I've tried clearing the cache and downloading profile bit it's still happening

 

Check your personal info on your account (date of birth, region etc) and add if missing. I struggled with this error for a while, but add personal info and hey presto.
