    I would like to say that this has been going on for months. I think since early November. Yesterday I randomly tried to get online, and I was online without any issues. Today I tried to get on, it worked for five minutes, and then I got this error again
    that never seems to go away.

    Rest assured I've tried EVERYTHING suggested. I've reset my router and modem, I've deleted my profile, I've cleared my cache, I've done all of that, and it has made NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER. If I didn't have a PS4, I'd
    be much more frustrated by this, but sometimes I like to use my 360, and I can't even go online with it. Here's the error status report:

    Z: 0000 - 0000

    I've also gotten codes also in the 8015 range, I think maybe 80151904 and 80151909 as well. Either way, it's all related. My PS4 and phone work fine with my router, and my 360 worked fine before about November, and nothing has changed in the settings. I
    have no idea what's going on. I've literally tried everything, and I don't have a clue what's up. All I know is that it's frustrating to have Gold expiring in April, and I haven't been able to use it for the past 4 months or so.

    Persistent 80151901 Error.

    "This console is unable to connect to Xbox LIVE" error or some sort. Since shortly before I got my PS4 (Boo, I know), my 360 hasn't been able to connect to XBL. It claims to be a network issue, but this was never a problem before, so I don't know why it's
    suddenly happening. I've tried restoring factory network settings, restarting my router, all of that stuff, and I have no luck. I also had ports forwarded and such for my 360, but disabled that thinking that might do something -- nope. Any ideas? It's really
    frustrating to have GTA V and not be able to play it online.

    I would also like to add that I've tried using the Xbox Support thing on this site and it hasn't helped me whatsoever. Something's wrong that I can't find out, and apparently that thing can't either.

    Hello,

    You should power off your modem and router and your PLC adapters for 5 minutes. Power on the modem and wait one minute for it to connect properly. Power on the router and wait another minute. Plug in your PLC adapters.

    Power on the Xbox and navigate to Xbox network settings. Select Configure Network and slide to the Additional Settings tab. Select Restore network settings to factory defaults. Press "B" on your controller and select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

  5. with your line A: 169.254.178.58/255.255.0.0 your xbox says it was not assigned a correct ip address by your dhcp (should be your router).

    please try Setting up a Manual ip address, most commonly the begin like 192.168..

    Well, as expected, not gonna get this resolved.

    I'd like to give a giant [expletives, naturally] to Microshaft for giving no word on this issue, and making my 360 a brick when it comes to using it online -- so yeah, basically a brick.

    Long live Sony.

    To anyone reading this with this error: It's likely not going away. If it does, it's temporary like it was for me. Microsoft doesn't care.

    Router brand & model number:

    Linksys WRT54G

    If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter?

    I'm using a wireless adapter that I used with my PS2 way back when. Linksys Wireless-G Gaming Adapter.

    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes

    Do you have a NAT error? Nope

    Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)?

    Comcast

    After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" press “Y” for "More Info”. In the pop-up that appears, what are the following values, if shown? (If a value below does not appear for you, just leave it blank.)

    I get what was in my original post, except I assigned an IP address.

    IM also Been having the same problems for months. I think Its Linksys routers thats doing this as soon as I get a netgear I'll let you know. Plz share if you fixed this.

    [/quote]Can you confirm that your Arris TG862 is operating in bridge mode.

    Since you have an additional router (Linksys WRT54G), any device that communicate through your Linksys and Arris, to the Internet-at-large, will find themself communicating behind multiple levels of NAT.
