76Mb updates every few days?

From the outside looking in (as I'm not a preview member), may I humbly suggest that if you don't want these daily updates you should pull out of the program? As for whether or not these updates are mandatory, I guess we should wait and see whether any other
preview members have got the same prob?

Windows 11 and I check for updates every day. This problem didn’t start happening until I updated the controller firmware a few days ago.

I use BT, good service 76Mb down and 16Mb up but the routers are complete rubbish.

If you are getting updates every few days, then your console is probably in the Xbox insider program. To stop the updates from happening every few days, then you need to launch the Xbox insider hub, and remove the console from the insider program.

If your console is not in the insider program, then your console has probably just updated to the July update, you won't get another one until the next public update is released.

I think it is. If you don't mind getting forced updates every few days I'd say go for it!
