You can confirm a deposit in two ways.

1) Your MyStatement on the MyRewards page can be sorted/viewed to view Credit activity in the past. When your deposit completes, you will see a Credit event for your deposit listed on that Statement.

2) You can confirm the actual currency deposit from your commerce page at (https://commerce.microsoft.com/). It will be listed as a refund with a negative amount, since we are adding money to your account.

Nope. does not require credit or PayPal. I had like 30$ in Microsoft cash once and it asked if i would like to purchase the membership using said cash and i clicked yes with no asking of credit card or PayPal. So the answer is no you do not need that sort
of stuff if you have enough cash to buy it.

Unfortunately, once Credits are deposited as currency into your Microsoft Account, we no longer have any control or visibility over them. You would have to reach out to Xbox billing support (http://support.xbox.com/contact-us)
for more assistance. This is outlined in our Terms and Conditions, which states that currency in your Microsoft Account expires after one year:

Cash awarded and deposited into your Account from Rewards Credits during the Program must be redeemed within one (1) year, or it will expire. Any cash awarded and deposited remaining in your Account after the expiration period described above will be forfeited
without compensation.

Note that this is a general Microsoft rule for promotional currencies, such as our Rewards Credits.

Also under your credits you can request to cash in your credits and have money deposited to your xbox account.
