50 Hz support

I have freesat and Standard definition broadcasts do look awful. But HD broadcasts look fine.

Although standard definition broadcasts have always looked awful even before I had an xbox one.

 

right i seem to have the new update

it is suppose to have fixed the 50hz issue but the xbox now wont display in 60hz at all switches back to 50hz all the time

anyone else got the update and figured out how the 50hz works i cant find a setting to change it

 

When i select the 50hz for the tv app it works great no more judder. As soon as i select another app or game it automatically returns to 60hz, there are no more settings other than 50hz on or off.

 

I might add that minimising the tv to the dashboard it remains at 50hz too until you select another menu choice, it then returns to 60hz.

Yes don't know why they hid it in troubleshooting, doesn't seem a very logical place for it really.

 

Since preview update Using the 'troubleshooting 50hz option' I find my TV skips more in 50hz mode?!?! Samsung UE40F6670, SKY HD, UK

 

Also SKY HD UK pass through looks like it's been streamed from internet. I had several friends

I have enabled 50Hz and now I get no signal to my TV at all. There is also not display output when I enter the menu to uncheck the box... How do I rested my TV settings so I can get 60 HZ back?

 

Remove any discs then press off button for 5 secs to turn console off. Press and hold power button along with the eject button, this should boot up the console in safe video mode allowing you to see the menus again and then you can alter your settings, good

I'm still having issues with sky, fix doesn't seem to help is fine then Freezes for a moment and continues.

Are there any other settings to consider. I have tried both 1080i and 720p sky setting

 

Is your Sky box set to 50 Hz output? Because I heard some "clever" folks setting that to 60 Hz, assuming this fixes the judder

 

Not possible to set sky to 60hz.... Seems fine then freezes for a bit every 20 mins or so

 

Sky is likely natively set to 50Hz, you would want to set the Xbox to 50Hz. TV & OneGuide > troubleshooting > Video > Click the box
