4k problem

When I switch my xbox one x to 4k my tv goes into the mode but the tv begins to go in and out of a black screen. Ive read xbox one x only supports 10 bit panel tvs if this is true. My tv is an 8 bit.

4K HDR doesn't work with a 4K TV

i got a problem, i have a 4K TV (TCL U43P6006) with the HDR10, but when i'm in HDMI 2.0b, i go in the settings of the console i activate 4K (i see 3840 x 2160 24hz) on the top and when i press " yes " (to conserve the changes) it returns to 1920 x 1080p
60hz and when i choose 4k UHD in display it says that i have 4K but i can't validate it .... So what is the problem cause my TV is 4K.

Also, i can't activate the HDR so i don't know why, i can't click.

When i put my TV on my computer, 4K works so the problem comes from the Xbox.

 

go to your TV settings..look for HDMI&CEC function.. Go to HDMI 2.0 format then select the enhanced format..had the same problem myself as my TV is also 10 bit panel..

 

What is the model of your TV? Sometimes, manufacturers disable 4K resolution over one or more of the HDMI inputs, and you must manually enable it in the TV's settings with your remote.

The Xbox One can support almost any TV with an HDMI input. The 8/10-bits on panels only indicates whether the TV supports HDR or not, which is an optional feature. The Xbox One X can support 8-bit 4K displays (considered non-HDR
4K).

If your TV is an 8-bit panel (non-HDR), then make sure the "Color depth" setting is set to "24 bits per pixel (8-bit)" while switching to 4K UHD resolution. You may also want to experiment with the advanced video settings if you
are still having issues in trying to get your Xbox One X to display in 4K.
