4k disc error

    First few 4k discs worked fine. Now every time i try to play one it receives error message. 4K playback was a big reason to upgrade to the one x. Update app or release patch ix.

    0x91d70001 4k disc

    Hey,

    I've tried to play the 4k uhd disc of Inferno. But my xbox one s isn't able to play the disc. It shows me the error code 0x91d70001

    Every other 4k uhd disc works.

    Is there any solution for this?

    4k movies made by universal won't play in 1s

    Do you get an error when you try playing the movies from the 4k disc? An error code or message will be helpful.

    Also, make sure your Blu-Ray app on Xbox is up to date.

    Xbox One S fails playing Ultra HD Blu-ray

    After troubleshooting some more last night I was able to successfully get blu ray discs and 4k blu ray discs by changing the resolution in settings to 1080p and then back to 4k. I believe this forced the "handshake" which got rid of my HDCP error that I
    was getting. (Error 0x91d7000a)

    Just wanted to pass this along. Curious if this resolves the issue for others!

    Just FYI, he said it is a 4k disc and 4k discs are region free.

    Really! That is a bit odd. VLC should play most videos. VLC doesn't play Blu-ray or 4k discs, as that's what the Blu-ray app is for.

    Speaking of the BD app, it's played all my 10 4k disc just fine, but only most of my BD discs work. The 2nd and 3rd discs of my Planet of the Apes Primal collection (8 discs) don't work. No errors or anything, just stays at a black screen after the app starts.

    Xbox One X Enhanced Games

    Xbox Game discs are not read/write discs, only read. So the patches that enable 4k content are downloaded to your Xbox. Games that are made as 4k discs are 4k capable. Hope this helps.
