4K capture glitch in video creates problems

Discus and support 4K capture glitch in video creates problems in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; Almost every time when we use 4K capture there are some glitch in footage, it is like 1sec stuck and that video can't be edited, that 1sec glitch...     4K capture glitch in video creates problems


    Almost every time when we use 4K capture there are some glitch in footage, it is like 1sec stuck and that video can't be edited, that 1sec glitch corrupt all video, I'll leave below image and short video of that glitch so you can see it:

    Usually I look my footage after recording and looking for that glitch and then I cut it off if I find him and then I put it to be edited.

    But now we have another problem: that recorded footage can't be reviewed on xbox, after buffering starts is just stack on first scene, or nothing is shown and xbox freezes, even several times is turned off my xbox.

    But I want to commend insider team for fixing 4K capture because after 29.5 (2006.200527-0000) update is works better than ever (I use 4K capture a lot for creating youtube videos), exempt that glitch, but that problem is from day one.

    I use a capture card because of this and another problem I encountered is that if you capture 4k HDR videos on external when you upload them to Youtube only the 4k aspect of it uploads but not the HDR and the video ends up looking weird

    I have usually had mine stuck on buffering for a long time myself, never had it shut down my Xbox, but i haven't captured anything recently.

    IGN does have a really good walk through on how to make sure your 4k capture is set up, but perhaps have a look at the different saving locations? it could possibly be saving to another destination that you're unaware of. But also, be aware, that 4k videos,
    even SDR and 30 seconds long, can be larger than you'd expect.

    The capturing was a problem for a while on the one dashboard, so hopefully its fixed for you now.
