4gb 360 Slim console will not update or go on live will go on internet

I have a 4gb 360 Slim console it will not update or go on live it will connect to the internet but not update or connect to live. Console had only the 4gb and no other Hard Drive when I bought it I used it for almost a year then put it up for 6 to
8 months and tried to use it again I Can't LOL. Can't format it and it Keeps reading 3gb with 2.9 free no matter what I do. Yes I have done every thing that live asked for 20 times and any thing else I could think of. Is there a work around that live would
not see the 4gb mem as my hard drive. I have tried to use USB and the console says it is The 360 storage device but I still can't Get it to go on live or update Even with the 250gb Hard drive in it .

bf4 will not play

If you are using a 4GB 360 slim console you will need to purchase an official 360 Hard Drive. The BF4 install is not compatiable with flash memory. Meaning you cannot use a flash drive or the internal memory on the 4GB slim console

 

Problem with LIVE after with console

I just bought today new console with slim 4gb hdd. I was play some games after I was bored I was try check LIVE. I was open conection with wifi then I was see "you must update softare for new" I click ok then i go smoke and saw notice your console dont have
enought space for update and error "23ef-335a-b680-0f00-c000-0034". After I restart console I was see same mesange.

So I litle check gogle oficial side have update it (it was also oficial side)

First try download and burn on DVD wasnt work same messange like before. After I was try download it on pen drive then console was start work but mine 4gb hdd disapire. On pendrive I was update console and LIVE work good.

What I can do to get back mine 4gb ;s ? Its bug or wtf

 

Can you please tell us what country you're from and what internet provider you use?

Do you get an error message or error code when you do a network test to Xbox Live in the console's network settings?

 

USA and it's Mediacom cable Yes I get a lot of them different ones not the same codes. Talked to MS Live 7 times and I finally got a hold of one of the few smart ones. He told me in five mins not 3 hours, that it is the 4gb MEM I had in the console for a
hard drive it's bad. He is correct don't know why I never thought of that stupid is as stupid doses LOL Thanks a lot for answering me on this PS is there a work around for the 4gb mem, So I can use the hard drive I have. It still won't download the update

I am having the same problem. Really frustrating. I also can't sign in to support on my PC or Fire10 to ask them what work around there is.
