    Hi,

Not played Xbox properly in four years, the only games I’ve really played are Mordor, BF1, GoW4, Fallout. Can someone name a few games that are must buys.

I’m not into CoD anymore, more into open world games like Borderlands, Assassins Creed, GTA, Fallout, Skyrim etc.

Games I’m looking at going through are AC games after Black Flag, how do they compare.

Andromeda, how does that compare to ME 3.

    Any other suggestions?

    :)

I have been registered to the MyRewards since 2013. I have done a lot on my Xbox, pre-orders,purchases,rank ups, my gamerscore is over 51,000 , I don't receive points or anything. My friend gets money added to his account randomly from Microsoft but I dont.
I've always had a problem with my Xbox and gamer tag since I first started playing back in 2011..how can this be looked into? Am I doing something wrong?

    Hello Wicked Kissez,

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

    1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
    https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/
    .

    -or-

    2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as MyVIP payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as mentioned in our pinned announcement at the top of the forums titled "HEY
YOU! We've got your answer here.
" (https://forums.xbox.com/en-US/thread/2f5ffacb-bf1e-4fca-8764-f57f69556e55), we no longer award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals
    as of July 2014.

MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December
2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).

    Hi, welcome back!

    1. Assassins Creed Origins - Completely different to the AC series but I love it
    2. Skyrim remastered - comes with all the dlc and there are a huge assortment of free console mods to make a new experience
    3. Fallout 4 - Also has mods now
    4. GTAV - The online gamemode is still being updated for free, endless content
    5. Andromeda - Meh. Replay Mass effect 1 via backward compatability

Personally, I enjoyed AC: Syndicate. Even AC: Unity, which had a rough launch but can now occasionally be found for nearly giveaway prices on sale. Then again, I had an interest in those historical settings going in. AC: Origins looks great, but I need
to whittle down my backlog a bit more.

In addition to the great advice you've already been given, you might also look into the Far Cry franchise, which also is open world. Far Cry 3 got me hooked, and I'm currently enjoying Far Cry Primal. Far Cry 5 is launching next week, and the new arcade
mode and map editor look pretty amazing.

    Welcome back!

  6. Thanks for recommendations, I will check Far Cry out, and always been a fan of the Assassins Creed games, I just hope that they haven’t lost the base root of the game and it still focus’ on climbing etc.

What I’ve found is this gen is games after release are so cheep, for example now you can get Titanfall 2 for £5.25, Mass Effect Andromeda for £8.75, Halo 5 is on the games pass, as is Gears 4 which isn’t as good as my favourites Gears 2 & 3 but is still
worth paying full price for even though I get it in my Xbox One bundle.

On a slight negative so many disappointing games this gen.

    Evolve

    Division

    Battleborn

Sea of Thieves - giving this time though as the base of the game is near perfect, it’s just a content issue which in time will hopefully be sorted.

Speaking of AC Syndicate, you might have heard that it's one of the Games with Gold for April. So if you happen to maintain a Gold subscription, that's available for no extra cost starting April 16.

I hope Sea of Thieves does well. I haven't played the release version of the game but participated in the alphas, betas, and stress tests. I think it can be a lot of fun if you have buddies or family to play it with, but as a solo pirate the seas can be
    a little rough!

How does Syndicate, Unitity and Origins stand up to what most and myself consider the best AC games: 2, Brotherhood, Revelations and Black Flag?

Going through this spring sale on Live and the deals are really good, Titanfall 2 £5.25, Andromeda £8.25 so those are certain buys, arrays got Titanfall 2 bought. Definitely giving Syndicate a download! Sea of Theives though has potentially so much going
for it, it just needs a proper levelling system, more verity of missions/voyages, whaling would be a good shout, pirate games like that dice one from POTC.

You definitely can't go wrong with the AC franchise if you are a fan. Picking them up late means that you will save yourself the trouble of experiencing bugs for the most part. The same things goes for Andromeda. As far as the game goes, I am enjoying Andromeda
when I can find time to play. The gameplay and story got my attention but the world is huge and there is so much to do that I parked it until I can spend some real time with it

The new Tomb Raider games are worth a look, as they allow you to level up equipment, survival skills and unlock new ones as well similar to and rpg but it doesn't lack gameplay. Resident Evil, Bio Shock, Dead Space collections are all worth a look as well,
I'm a fan of the AC, Borderland games, Fallout and the Elder Scrolls games are just some of my favorites, have you tried ESO? The newer AC games bring different things to the table as far gameplay and story, I liked them haven't played origins but to me they're
all slightly different in their own little way, the new Final Fantasy is slow start cause there is so much to learn since the last installment. That's all I can think of at the moment let me know which ones you decide to play and what you think about it.
