4 month Groove Anniversary prome

I have availed the free Groove trial (
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/groove/anniversary ) it says when you avail a one month paid or trial gold you will receive an additional 3 month gold. I availed the trial of groove last August 12 but until now I haven't receive any code for my other 3
months

I have been trying to get this same thing resolved but when I Chat with XBOX Customer service, they told me "what reason would a company give away free months without charging for one?" In other words, if you got a code it means they charged your pay method
for 1-month, yet the promotion said 1-month Free to get 3-months Free code. Sounds like stealing via false advertising.

I have friends in my game clan that I told about this promotion when I saw it on my dash and they signed up. A couple got the 3-month code already so I gotta ask them to check to see if they got charged for 1-month. If so, I feel terrible I led them to get
charged.

Going to research this more as it seems to have happened to a few people on Xbox ONE.
