    3rd Party Services Account Management


    Recently ran into this inconvenience in Midnights suns and trying to link my 2K account to the game on Xbox Series X. Since passwords tend to be complex, this is very tedious to enter each time a new games asks to link services.

    Potentially there could be either an integration with MS Authenticator/Edge in order to carry over usernames and passwords or else something similar to how Android handles 3rd party services and have any gaming service interested register in a single place and any future game from the same publisher just reads the credentials from there

    Problems with 3rd party developers is certainly an industry wide problem, that isn't what I was referring to, whether you find services such as Live to be worth paying for however, is opinion based. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.

    But 3rd party developers are just that, 3rd party. 3rd party generally releases on all platforms, why would that reduce Xbox sales when they are the same on all platforms they release for? I'd understand if the argument was for 1st party exclusives.

    Hello wRaiith,

    We understand that a code purchased through a 3rd party website is reading as already redeemed on your Xbox One console.

    There should not be a requirement of proof, as the product was sold through 3rd party service, which would mean the refund/return policy that would be applied in this case will be through that 3rd party without any association to Microsoft except for the
    service being offered.

    Please attempt to explain this at the point of purchase.
