    3D Ruddee + adaptive controller


    I’m trying to set up a 3D Rudder to play FPS games with. I’m checking if there’s a setting to use so I will auto run w/out having to press or click a button but still have the abiliy to walk, then run based on now hard I press forward on the 3D rudder...or must I press a button to run? Do I want to have the ruddee set for joystick or hotas, if I just want the ruddee to take over left stick functionslities?

    Yes! The
    Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick     is compatible with the Xbox Adaptive Controller when plugged into one of the USB ports on the controller. The left input is for the left thumbstick actions and the right input is for the
    right thumbstick actions. The buttons on the joystick are set to specific buttons by default but you can customize your button setup through the Xbox Accessories app. I'm going to provide you with all of the information I think you may find useful for the
    Xbox Adaptive Controller and there is plenty more!

    I believe the 3D Pro is not directly compatible with an Xbox--only through a Microsoft adaptive controller, and that is questionable in the newest versions of each. Sorry. *sigh*

    It does work. There are two different versions of the 3D pro, only one of which is whitelisted for the adaptive controller. Contact Logitech support to exchange for the correct version.

    Hi there,

    Sorry for the late response.

    You can update the 3dRudder firmware on a Mac and use it as well as a foot mouse, but you won't access other functionalities.

    Once you'll have updated the firmware, you'll be able to use it with the Xbox Adaptive Controller, mapping which axes of the sticks you want to have at the feet.

    Can you tell us the exact model of your Logitech controller?

    While you can't directly connect the Logitech controller to the Xbox One, you can use the Xbox Adaptive Controller to connect a Logitech Extreme 3D USB controller to the Adaptive controller, and be able to use that.

    All other Logitech controllers probably don't work, unless it's a Logitech G920 force-feedback steering wheel.
