360 titles on xbox one

    I have several 360 titles that I see on xbox one site like the evil within, so why cant I play them on my xbox one?

    That is because you can't use your Microsoft currency on an Xbox One to buy Xbox 360 titles. To use your currency for Xbox 360 titles, you would need an Xbox 360 console.

    If you've no backlog of 360 titles or friends who you play 360 titles with
    regularly, sure.

    If you have 360 titles you want to continue playing, I wouldn't trade in a 360 for an Xbox One. Titanfall and Destiny will be available on the Xbox 360. I'd wait for a few more system updates and a must-have Xbox One title if you've not bought an Xbox One already.

    Hi, it's becuase those games are not backward compatible games. These games are the xbox one versions of the games, which you have to purchase if you want to play them on the Xbox One.

    Why would I want to buy them again if I already bought them, that's ridiculous having to pay for them twice.

    Yeah, It' the decision of each publisher/developer whether or not they will charge you for the xbox one version if you own the xbox 360 version first.

    If games given out through games with gold are ours to keep, why am I able to play some of them on Xbox one but not others.

    Not an Xbox one title. It's a 360 title.

    Only xbox one titles

    The xbox 360 and xbox one webmarketplace are completely different

    For currency purchases you must use the xbox 360 console

    The xbox one only uses the Web portal for bc titles

    Hi! From the sound of it you're trying to download Xbox One games to your Xbox 360, this isn't possible. You can play backwards compatible Xbox 360 titles on a Xbox One, but it doesn't work the other way around. You can only play Xbox 360 titles
    on the Xbox 360. Hope this helps.
    That it's not his question. The OP states he can claim xbox one games with gold through his xbox 360 yet he can't play certain titles from his Win PC.

    That is normal as only play anywhere titles can be played in both PC and Xbox one.
