360 logs out when trying to play disc

I recently had to replace the disc drive of my 360 i had a spare laying about so i used it. since then i have not been able to play games from disc.

Downloaded games work fine and all of my apps still work ie. netflix, hulu, and such.

I have tried the Delete the profile clear the cache 3 times in a row remove the hard drive reinstall and download the profile again. The problem still exists.

Any help would be great.

My Xbox 360 wont read discs

My Xbox 360 won't read discs. I'm trying to install the elder scrolls 5 but when i put the disc in It says disconnected from Xbox live and logs me in again And takes me home.

Very sorry to hear it. However, it sounds as though you self-repaired your console by replacing the disc drive yourself.

I'm afraid no one here will be able to help you at all now as self repair is against the ToU of the Live service and discussion of self repair is forbidden on the forums.

Not even phone support will help.

Your only option now is to purchase a new console.

I will recommend clearing your system cache, then deleting and redownloading your Xbox profile.

I've noticed that it is just immediately after playing an Xbox 360 disc. Once I put in an Xbox One disc it sounds like the disc is being read but it just stops trying (if you understand). Xbox one discs themselves work just fine but not after 360 discs.
I just checked out the disc troubleshooting and I will try out those fixes. I'll keep posted

You're not going to get that scratch out, it's time for a new disc :/ Don't try to play it, because it may mess up your disc drive on your 360.
