360 games on Xbox one s all digital

If you've got 360 or Xbox One games on disc then all digital machine isn't for you. The only difference between the standard One S and the all digital is the lack of an optical drive on the latter machine. Microsoft haven't stopped making the One S.

The all digital consoles (Series S & Xbox One All Digital Edition) are designed for users who have only digital games purchased from the Xbox Store or for playing GamePass titles.

If you have a vast collection of Xbox games (OG, 360 & One) on disk then your best looking at the Series X instead of the Series S.

You have names mixed up. There are no consoles named the Xbox One Series S or Xbox One Series X.

The Xbox One/One S/One X all have a disc drive.

The Xbox One S All Digital Edition does not have a disc drive.

The Xbox Series X has a disc drive.

The Xbox Series S does not have a disc drive.

All the consoles can play backward compatible games. The Series S and One S all digital edition can only play games digitally downloaded.

The other consoles can play games from disc and from digitally downloaded,

You can play any backward compatible 360 game on an Xbox One, provided you can either install it via disc like on the 360 (and the disc will need to be in the console in order to play the game), or you have purchased the 360 game digitally so you can download
it to the console.

If you purchased the all digital Xbox One S, you will need to purchase any 360 games digitally (even if you already own them on disc) in order to play them on that particular console.

I looked at my stack of old 360 games those that were on compatibilty list installed fine on my xbox one x

I am using xbox one S all digital, this is my problem and i want my xbox 360 games to be here.
