360 games are unplayable because xbox live thinks they are xbox one game

i bought a triple pack containing trials HD, limbo, and 'splosion man. it clearly stats on the case this is for the 360, googling shows these games are for the 360, but when i try to play them, xbox live forcibly makes me log in and then tells me trials
hd and splosion man are xbox one games. i try to load them but they fail to load. limbo loads fine. but i really want to play splosion man. this isn't fair. please categorize them back to 360 games.

so he buys a game spends £200 on an xbox..spends money subscribing to xbox live..plays an xbox game he bought from microsoft games on demand, and now the account is worthless and he has wasted all that money all because he has got bought a hacked to death
game that MICROSOFT are still selling on games on demand, if they know this game is unplayable why are they still selling it!!

i've checked this thread 3 times a day since i posted it. it upsets me that no official person has responded.

I will try to help, but I give no guarantee's that I can fix your problem. May I ask how you purchased these games? Was it via an Xbox 360 or the website? When you say they don't work and that they are 'Xbox One games', what does the exact message say? Does
it give any error codes?

Could you provide us with any screenshots or video's of your error so that we may assist you further? Also, what country are you from please?

i think i figured it out thanks to your questions. i got this game used and it was on cd. when i tried to reload these games again different things happened... trials hd loaded, and slopsion man didn't. i've been a pc gamer since my last console a dreamcast....
so i am pretty new to xbox... the reason is says xbox one is because xbox one it is compatible with it, not that it is xbox one only... really confused me. after inspecting the cd i realized it has some very light scuffing near the outer edge of the cd. so
i guess my cd is just scratched on the splosion man part of the disc... sad because i got this cd for that game... at least i get to play limbo.

 

Like a PC, you can install Xbox 360 games to the console. The install may not work though if there is more than one game on the DVD and the console is unable to read that part of the disc. To complete the install, the console must be able to read the entire
disc. You could take/send the game back and get a replacement or you could try getting the disc scratches removed.

Most stores that sell second-hand games have disc cleaning facilities. They only charge a nominal fee. The disc cleaner removes a fine layer from the disc thereby potentially allowing an unreadable disc to be readable again. There is a slight risk that you
can make the disc worse, but this is unlikely.
