360 game no longer in store, but I own it

Wondering if anyone knows the answer to this - I game pretty much exclusively on Xbox One, including the awesome backwards compatibility, but I still have one game that I owned on my 360 which I didn't get to finish before I switched over to X1. The Testament
of Sherlock Holmes. After my house fire last year, I had to replace my 360, and finally got around to trying to re-download it yesterday. Well, the 360 store was having issues yesterday, so I couldn't get to my past purchases/downloads, but here's my concern
- I owned the digital version of Testament, but when I check on the Xbox Store, it doesn't appear to be available anymore. Where the other 360 games like Crimes and Punishments have a little price next to them, Testament doesn't, and when I go into the store
listing for the game, there is no longer a buy or download button.

So, my question is, if I own it, and can find it in my download/purchase history on my console (which is the way we're supposed to re-download past purchases) is it even going to allow me to do it, since it's not available for purchase anymore? Or can we
still re-download things we own, even if they are no longer actively for sale?

driver san fransico problem

hi i own driver san fransico ive installed it on my xbox one i have the digitail version not a disk base but wont let me play it says do you own this game or app i carnt check on 360 or xbox store as game is no longer avalable is there anyway to fix this

Sorry to hear you're having issues. If you purchased the game on your tag then try the steps listed below. Move to the next option if one doesn't work.

1. Power cycle by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down.

2. Delete the game and reinstall it.

3. Factory reset the console (there is an option to keep installed games/apps)

4. If all else fails and you did purchase the game on your account then call phone support for more assistance. Click this link to get the number for your region Customer Support

 

Hi. I'm guessing 'The Testament of Sherlock Holmes' is a game that is NOT backwards compatible at the moment.

It may be in the future, but for now it is not, and that is why you cannot download it from the XboxOne store.

 

Not my question, but I appreciate the response. My point was, and maybe I didn't clarify, Testament is the one game I didn't finish on my 360 which is
not BC yet, which is why I was trying to download it from the 360 store, onto my 360. The 360 store was having issues last night, according to xbox.com/status which at the time was why I couldn't get into my purchase history, download history, etc.
BUT, when I looked up the game on the 360 section of the xbox.com store today (all store issues resolved according to the status page) there is no "buy" or "download" button like you would normally see, to queue up the download to your 360.

So, I'm worried that, even though I own it, I won't even be able to re-download it to my 360 to try to play it.

 

Most of the time you can redownload games even if they are no longer available for purchase. However, in some cases the licenses may be removed completely and all data completely removed from Microsoft's servers so you would no longer be able to redownload
the game at all. It doesn't happen all the time, but that could be the case with that game.
