360 emulator on xbox one broken

When I go on any of my backwards compatible games on my xbox one it says that I'm not connected to xbox live or a network so I can't download my profile. Have tried a bunch of fixed like hard booting and resetting things as well as clearing the 360 cache
on my one but nothing seems to work

There should be a choice then at the bottom of the screen I think it is hit X button to sign in or sign out try hitting that first.

The soft reset worked I can now access xbox live from the emulator thks

Hi Jade,

Have you tried the soft factory reset Crystal mentioned? Also on the Xbox one go to network settings and test network and multiplayer connections. Mainly let us know if you get any errors, or if NAT is anything but open. If it is all good then try 360 emulator
again. This sometimes happens when the 360 profile side is not updated. For example, when I went to play star wars battlefront the emulator had my old gamer tag still which was from 6 years ago.

Is it a certain 360 game or does it do this with each one?

You are going to have to connect to the internet then download your profile on the emulator by following these directions:

1. Load any 360 game.

2. Hit the start and select buttons ( small round buttons on either side of the big xbox button on controller) at same time this will bring up the 360 guide.

3. Go down to download profile and click on it.

4. Enter email and password.

You have to be connected to the internet in order to do this though.

This should fix your problem '

You also may want to make sure that your password is not longer then 16 characters the 360s including the emulators do not like passwords longer then 16 characters.
