    360 dlc needed to play saved game all of a sudden!


    Ive recently started to play Fable 2 again. It was a firm favourite of mine. I finished playing yesterday and came back to it today to find when i select my saved game it asked me to download the See your Future pack. - I did this and then it wouldnt let
    me play my saved game because i didnt initially start with the expantion. So i deleted the dlc and restarted my xbox one and im still getting this block that wont let me play my selected game saying it needs the DLC. Why all of a sudden does it need it?

    I’ve tried talking to specialists, couldn’t get a request call back, and after trying to find some sort of email so i could possibly contact someone i ended up here! Because i literally couldn’t find an email anywhere! I hope someone can help. I really don’t
    want to start the game again.

    Thanks for replying, no error code it just comes up with a message as soon as I press continue (saved game) and says i need to download See your future dlc to be able to play my saved game presumably. But when I tried that it said i still couldn’t access
    that saved game because I didn’t start with the dlc installed. I just dont know why all of sudden it is asking for this dlc?

    Hi There,

    See if uninstalling and reinstalling the DLC will allow you to continue with your save. If it doesn't work then you might have to replay the whole game unfortunately.

    Hey, thanks for replying, I have reinstalled both the game and my original dlc (just not the one its asking for) and still nothing. Seems like i will have to start again. Im worried it may do this again. If i do restart it i’ll make sure i have the dlc
    its asking for because i dont want to risk it happening again.

    Hi,

    The save games you had on the 360 are not compatible with the remastered game. You don't need the DLC (the add-ons) as the remaster contains all of the DLC of the original game.
