32.33 Account Credit seems to have expired

    Order number:

    567453558256550572

Hi, my name is Fady, how are you today? I had $32.33 on my XBL account and I was in contact with xbox customer support representatives. I contacted them through their 1800-469-9269 phone number. The agent Jeff mentioned that I didn't use my $32.33 for any games
or in-game purchases, and that they had expired. He mentioned that I had to email Xbox support forums for assistance. I received these credits in December 2016 from when I purchased my Xbox One S, as there was a promotion for the Xbox Live Rewards program
at the time. I traded that console in and have upgraded to an Xbox One X at the moment.

The reason I'm looking to get that amount back was that Forza Horizon 2 Anniversary edition is on sale for $12, and I'd love to put my credits towards that. I'm still not sure what I'd use the other $20 for.

I know they expired and it's my fault for holding onto them for so long, but I hope that this can be resolved and I won't make that mistake again. Thank you for your help and you have a great day.

How to check your Xbox MSP expiry dates

Thanks for sharing this. Looks like I have a long while before the credit in my account expires.

However it's a good thing I'm planning on spending pretty much all my points by the time the Xbox One is out.

32.33 Account Credit seems to have expired

Per the programs terms and conditions, credits expire 1 year after deposit. Support would be the only ones who could get them back for you if possible, but otherwise there is no way to get expired funds back.

    — Will my Rewards Credits expire?

    A. While Rewards Credits do not expire, the funds that we deposit do, so be sure to use it! Once Rewards Credits have been converted to your country’s local currency and deposited into your Microsoft account, the cash value will expire within 365 days upon
deposit. To view expiring deposits in your Microsoft account, go to the Billing and Account Management page. See Terms and Conditions for full details.

    Microsoft rewards question.

    Hi,

sorry but Darhyl seems to be a bit confused ^^

To answer your question: It always takes the oldest of the so called promo money first.

For example if you have 4 credits left that would expire in a few days and you redeem Rewards points for 10 credits and purchase something for 10 credits. The system will take the 'old' 4 credits plus 6 of the 'new' credits and you would have 4 of the 'new' credits left that would expire in 90 days.
