    Xbox One 1st release

    I searched everywhere but cant find the answer, but i discovered that 1st release Xbox One has HDMI 1.4

    and because it received freesync 1 capability will also output 1080p @120hz? as wikipedia says HDMI 1.4 added support for 4096×2160 at 24 Hz, 3840×2160 at 24, 25, and 30 Hz, and
    1920×1080 at 120 Hz





    if Xbox One S can, can also Xbox One?

    Xbox one s - UHD BLU-RAY 4K on 4K 30p TV.

    Hi

    Xbox one s - do play UHD BLU-RAY 4K movies on a 4K TV there only accept 30 Hz P on its HDMI ports. ;-)

    Tryed on a Philips 49pus7809 only HDMI port 1, there can't use a 4k Cromecast ultra, it will only go to 4k in 60 Hz and not 4k in 30Hz P.

    This feature is for older HDTV's with lower refresh rates.

    If you have a newer TV, you probably have refresh rates of 60hz, 120hz or 240hz.

    I use a 60hz HD and tried the option at 30hz just to see difference in gameplay and it actually reduces the screen tearing but does stutter which can get annoying so just stick to 60hz if your tv is at that refresh rate.

    I think you're confusing a 120 Hz panel, with 120hz display and input ability. The hardware inside the display Is the determining factor of what the television supports. It was mostly implemented to allow for 24 Hz display of movies

    There are no 1080P televisions that do 120 Hz display, it's a feature you only find on high end 4K televisions

    I do not think Refresh rate means all that much with video games, but in general, I like my TVs to be at 120 hz. The one that you have is at 60 hz. If you could try to find something with 120 hz. But that is your choice since games will be 30-60 fps on next
    gen consoles.

    I know you do not have Black Friday, but, because I do where I am, Walmart is having a doorbuster where theres a 60 in., 120 hz Vizio tv for 688.

    You should be able to find deals though somewhere. Up to you though.

    Can you guys make an update for 75hz monitors because majority of people have monitors that support 75hz but the Xbox locks it at 60hz which isn’t getting the monitors best performance.

    Xbox is designed for use with televisions, for which multiples of 30 are the standard refresh rates.

    As the software is also designed around this, and 75 Hz is a non-standard refresh rate for HDTVresolutions
