3 Months free Groove music pass

I signed up to Groove misic on my Xbox One recently, as there was a promotion to get 3 months free.,I am supposed to be emailed a code .

i still havent received any code. The offer said the code had to be used by August 31st. That's next week.

Before anyone from support locks this thread - I was sent here by the chat team. I went onto the Groove support page on the Microsoft website and selected chat. When I started talking to the guy he said he was Windows 10 support only and was nothing to do
with Groove.

This needs sorted ASAP. I will not be passed from pillar to post.

I signed up to the trail but didn't get the token for 3 months of Groove Music Pass within the 30 days

 

Did you find this promo via the xbox dashboard or the Groove site?

 

Which specific day did you make the purchase/sign-up on through the Xbox One dashboard? Keep in mind that this specific offer can take up to 30 days for the code to send, which is called out in the terms and conditions. It sounds like that August 31st date
you saw was probably indicating that is when you need to sign-up by to receive the code since that's the cutoff date for the current Groove promo.

Be sure to let us know when you saw the ad and purchased so we can determine which promotion cycle you should be falling in so we can tell for sure. Thanks!

 

I signed up early in July. The Ts & Cs of the promotion say it ends on August 17 and the code has to be redeemed by August 31.

Same here. I've even contacted Support, and they told me I would receive the code after one month of subscribing.

I'm still waiting.

There seems to be quite a few people on these forums and the Microsoft Answer forums with the same problem. Theres a few on Reddit as well.

Everyone has the same story and they all seem to be put on wild goose chases by the staff on here and elsewhere.
