3 month game pass code expired

On Friday i redeemed my credits/points for a 3 month game pass code. I received the email with the code shortly after. On Sunday, when i tried to enter the code on my Xbox, it told me that the code had expired. I know the old rewards system was expiring
and being changed to the new Microsoft rewards (that’s why i spent all my points on Friday) but i didn’t think redeemed rewards would expire with it. Please tell me this is just a mistake and that i didn’t get screwed out of my “reward”.

VIP rewards expired

I received a code for 3 month game pass on the 1st of June, when I claimed my rewards for my VIP gems, but when I go to redeem the code it tells me it's expired. The one month code that I received works fine. Thanks

Apologies for the inconvenience. There was an issue with these codes that we have been investigating with another team. They now report that the issue should be resolved, and you can now redeem the code successfully. They should not expire until the end
of December 2018.

For example, if your subscription expires on 1 March and want to redeem 3 months, the expiry date will be updated, and now it will expire 90 days after the original expiration date. What if I redeem the code, before the existing membership expires ? Will it still add to the existing membership ?

Example - if my subscription expires on 1 March, and I redeem 3 months pass on 25 February, will the Game pass still expire on 1 June or 25 May (3 months from 25 February ) ?

Tried contacting support but couldn't get through. Yes. I know it will combine but my question is what will be the expiry date of the ultimate if my game pass console is expiring after 3 months and gold is expiring after 6 months. Will the combined ultimate
will expire after the remaining 3 months of game pass or after remaining 6 months of gold?

Hello Mopar469!

If you receive the 3 months of Xbox Game Pass promotion for completing the Bad Lands Quest it would extend your active subscription by 3 more months from your original expiration date. You would not be charged for those 3 months even if you're set up with
an automatic renewal subscription. The code itself could possibly expire promotional codes should normally be used within 90 days.

When you buy more Game Pass Ultimate via on the store or with a gift card, it will extend the length of your Ultimate membership. It will inform you when it will expire as well. Another cool thing people don't often know is that if you have a 3-month regular
Game Pass redeemable code and you currently have an Ultimate membership, it will convert the 3-month Game Pass into 2 months of Ultimate membership.
