Gamertags now are availble if someone else has already taken it. You will just have small numbers next to it.. For example: ABC#1234

You can have any 3 letter gamertag you want, but be aware if it is taken you will get # and numbers after it.

There might be as such you going to have to do just mix and match and hope no one else has taken it.

all i can say is keep trying your luck and hope for the best alot of 3 letter 4 letter names were taking during the og xbox days and 360 days
