    3,5mm Jack not working on Xbox One S Controller through Bluetooth


    I use an Xbox One controller on PC. Audio works through usb cable only, is there any way to make it work through BT? Wireless adapter is impossible to buy in Brazil except for importing a counterfeit from aliexpress, would rather have an official way to
    use it instead of running a 6ft long cable on a perfectly fine wireless device. is there any reason for it not to work? Low power bluetooth controller bandwidth? or just lack of software support?

    3,5mm jack works properly through usb, the audio output simply does not show up when connected through bluetooth

    bluetooth connection yes to connect to bluetooth, but they DO NOT support audio over bluetooth. this has been like this since the S controllers came out.

    to have audio transmitted you would need the wireless adapter that is available for pc.

    the controllers only support audio through wired connection, bluetooth audio is not supported on any xbox controller.
    This statement is not 100% accurate...newer Xbox One controllers do have Bluetooth support.

    it is due to licencing, if they let you use audio over bluetooth then they would need to pay for the licencing to do so. nothing more can be done.
