    The game is $19.99 and my account balance is $20.02 and I want to buy it on Xbox marketplace and I already redeemed my gift card and when I press to buy it says how do I want to pay the rest when I have enough for it and now it wants me to add a new way
    to pay

    and I don't have no PayPal or Credit or Debit card.

    why wont it let me pay my past due subscriptions when iv more than enough money on my card

    What is going on

    I recently purchased a xbox gift card and when I try to purchase xbox gold it say "get started add a way to pay " . I had added my gift card before I tried to purchase xbox gold why is it not giving me the option to pay with my microsft account money

    im being made to pay for a renewal when i have no money in my account it says to cancel my subscription i must pay....

    But i want to cancel i dont have money to pay for this new month they are charging me for why does it not auto cancel when payment fails? I refuse to pay for it cause im not gonna use it and want to cancel my membership completely

    Hello,

    As Xbox GamePass is a subscription service you can only pay with valid payment method such as a Debit Card/Credit Card or PayPal. It's not possible to subscribe with your account balance.

    Since it starts a recurring subscription, you have to have a payment method on file for the next payment (even if you plan on turning of auto-renewal).

    Of course, but you can't sign up without another way to pay the recurring payment. Or at least that was what my post was meant to say. 🤔
