2Wire: Cloud storage offline need support

Well, cloud storage and moving save files around aren't needed if you're playing on line, but they are handy when you are playing games OFFLINE.

Hi, I had the same problem reported form RSparkyC.

I've another question. If I'm connected to Xbox Live but my Gold account ended changing into Silver, I can't use any of the saved games files that are into cloud?

And, why I've a 512MB of space on the HDD reserved for cloud save game if I can't use it offline?

This use is very similar to a network hard disk, but with 512MB reserved I think it's a better idea if it was similar to the newest Microsoft SkyDrive application or Dropbox application.

So, if my Gold account ended I can copy back my savegames. Nice!

For cloud, caching is good idea, but like other cloud storage application, I think that using cache also in offline mode syncing it in future is better than receive error message turning console off because I can't play my favourite games because my savegame
is "in the cloud" and I have not an up-to-date backup!

If you have Silver you can copy your saved games back from the cloud, you just can't save to the cloud again. And the reason it requires 512MB of space is for caching, otherwise it would be incredibly annoying to save real-time to the cloud (especially
for games that use auto-saving).
